What it is

What it is, and how it works.

A free tool that puts one question about your trade and town to four assistant models and shows, verbatim, whether your business is named — plus a paid Snapshot scored on a fixed rubric.

Assistant models answer questions about local trades, and you cannot see those answers from the outside. This tool shows you one: the same question about your trade and your town, put to four models, each answer printed exactly as it came back.

You give us your business name, your trade and your town. We put one fixed question to four models through their APIs and read the answers. Our own code picks the business names out of each answer; no model is asked to report on itself. The result shows, per model, whether your business was named, which other businesses were, and the full answer. A tally shows which rival names came up most across the four.

What a result is: one reading, taken at one moment. Answers vary from one ask to the next, and the result page prints that on the result itself. A business named in an answer is what the model said, not a verified fact, and these are API calls with our own instructions, not the consumer apps. Nobody has measured how often buyers rely on these answers, and we make no claim that they do.

The paid AI Visibility Snapshot goes further: your firm against up to three named competitors on a fixed, printed rubric, a fixed set of buyer questions put to one named assistant, and pass, partial or fail checks on whether your site's code is built so machines can read it. It is delivered as a branded PDF and a private web version.

Who it is for

  • Local firms curious what assistant models say about their trade
  • Owners who want to see the actual answers rather than a score
  • Firms that want a structured, repeatable reading: the Snapshot
What it does

What it reads, and what you see.

One question, four models

The same plain question about your trade and town, so the answers can be compared.

Word for word

Each answer shown in full, with the business names our code picked out of it.

Who else was named

A tally of the other firms named across the four answers.

The Snapshot

A fixed rubric against up to three named competitors, plus code checks on machine readability, as a PDF and web version.

By hand, or with it

The same job, two ways.

By hand

  • Type questions into chat apps one at a time
  • Lose the answers as soon as you close the window
  • Cannot tell whether a different wording changes the result
  • No record of which other firms were named

With AI visibility

  • Four models asked the same question at once
  • Every answer kept, word for word
  • Your name and rivals' names picked out by code
  • A caveat on every result about how answers vary
What you walk away with

What you keep.

The answers themselves

What four models said about your trade and town, in full.

Named or not

Whether your business was named in each answer.

The rival names

Which other firms came up, and in how many answers.

A rubric score (Snapshot)

A structured reading against named competitors, with code checks.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Enter your business

Name, trade and town; you can add a question of your own.

  2. We ask four models

The same question, through their APIs, at the same time.

  3. Read the answers

Word for word, with names picked out and a caveat on variation.

Limits

What it does not do.

  • Answers vary between asks. A result is one reading, not a ranking.
  • These are API calls with our own instructions, not the consumer chat apps, which can answer differently.
  • A firm named in an answer is what the model said; we do not verify it.
  • Guests get a limited number of runs; signed-in users can ask more questions.
  • We make no claim about buyer behaviour around these models, or that being named brings work. Nobody has measured that.
Price

The tool is free. The Snapshot is £195, one-off.

The Snapshot is evaluated by one assistant, named in the report. It reads your website's content, not live search rankings or review platforms.

FAQ

AI visibility: questions

Which models do you ask?

Four models from four providers, reached through their APIs. The result page names each one.

Why do the answers change if I run it again?

Because these models do not give fixed answers. That is why every result carries a note saying it is one reading, taken at one moment.

Does being named mean I will get more work?

We do not know, and we do not claim it. Nobody has measured how buyers act on these answers. The tool shows what was said, nothing more.

What is the difference between the tool and the Snapshot?

The tool is a free, single reading across four models. The Snapshot is a paid, structured report against named competitors on a fixed rubric, evaluated by one named assistant, with code checks on your site.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free tool. Signing in lets you ask more questions per run.

Run it on your own business.

The free tool is live with no account. The paid Snapshot is bought on the pricing page.
